We invite you to watch and discuss the investigative film No God But Theirs together with its author, journalist Danylo Mokryk.
Produced by the war crimes investigations team at The Kyiv Independent, the film documents the persecution of Christians in Melitopol under Russian occupation, including abductions, arrests, interrogations, accusations of collaboration with Ukrainian intelligence, church closures, expulsions, and informants. The documentary also reveals the names of officials responsible for religious oppression and features testimonies from clergy who refused to renounce their faith.
The main figures in the investigation include: Bishop Dmytro Bodyu of the Pentecostal Church Word of Life, Presbyter Mykhailo Brytsyn and Pastor Ihor Ivashchuk of the Grace Baptist Church, Father Oleksandr Bohomaz, priest of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC).
