The round table “Crisis as a Space for Ministry: How Spirituality and Psychology Together Restore People and Communities” was held in Kyiv on February 20. The event took place within the framework of the “Balance of Your Ministry” program, implemented by the Ukrainian Educational Platform. It brought together religious leaders, psychologists, and mental health professionals to discuss how to support individuals and communities in the context of the ongoing war.

Participants addressed practical challenges of ministry, the boundaries of responsibility, and opportunities for cooperation between clergy and psychologists. The discussion also focused on integrating psychological approaches into parish practice, identifying regional needs, and further developing the program - moving from individual initiatives toward more systemic work. Members of the Dialogue in Action team - Tetiana Kalenychenko, Dmytro Fedorchak, and Olena Kopina - also joined the discussions.

We thank the Ukrainian Educational Platform for the partnership in implementing the “Balance of Your Ministry” program and value the opportunity to jointly strengthen a supportive environment for clergy and communities.
